Nikhil Bharat Sangeet Samiti
Dedicated to the memory of the late Guruji Tabla maestro Professor Biru Chakraborty.
In 1982, Guruji Tabla maestro Professor Biru Chakraborty established the "Nikhil Bharat Sangeet Samiti" (All India Music Society) for the proper promotion and dissemination of music. It was approved by the Indian government and gained special recognition throughout India. He himself named the place called "Shakuntala Park" in Kolkata. It is still known by that name.
